– Essential hypertension (might be used alone or in a combination with other antihypertensives, especially with thiazide diuretics);
– Angina pectoris;
– Symptomatic congestive heart disease.
Carvedilol might be used as a supplement to the standard therapy, and might be used at patients that are not in a condition to receive ACE inhibitors, digitalis, hydralazine or nitrates.
